Hi troutfinder same as Pat will be really interested to see how effective B is for salmonids. One question how will use B to catch Salmonids, because obviously u cant soak a fly or lure in it can u??

quite a lot of matchmen chop up loads of different baits over here now Trev. Corn, meat, worms, casters, maggots, expander pellets. all designed to create smaller particles in the water and creating a cloud spreading the feed over a larger area and therefore tempting bites on those difficult days

Mine would have to be caster. Loved by everything and always picks out the better stamp of fish

Another method i thought about trying was using chopped maggots and adding B powder or serum directly to the maggots. Chopped maggots are brilliant over here in the winter especially for perch and gudgeon on those tough days when a few fish will win the match.

Fished a mtch yesterday (Bank holiday Sunday) drew the wrong area and decided to fish the method feeder all day so used my own groundbait mix which i think is about right now. It consists of 1 pint of green breadcrumb, 1 pint of green betaine and spirulina groundbait, 1 pint of bait tech mojo and 4 teaspoons of B powder. (green baits are working really well at the mo).
Had a fish first cast but then struggled for the rest of the match, when a fish ame into the peg i would catch and they were properly getting their heads down on the groundbait but were not staying in the swim long enough. Finished up with 16lb 7oz for seventh place, either side of me weighed in 20lb 10 oz and DNW. I suppose you cant always catch fish.
Tight Lines
