I fished just below Dresden Lock last night, and what I seem to have become a expert at catching, I caught a very large soft shell turtle. Just ask Pat I seem to attract them like a magnet.

I caught a 2lb Terrapin from a lake in Devon about 10 years ago. It took a piece of meat. Bite was good but it felt like it was trying to walk away rather than swim. Owner of lake was not too happy when I told him I had put it back. Seems four Terrapins had been dumped in there and he had got three out. He had been trying for about three years to get the last one out and I ahd thrown it back.

Got a small turtle on camera walking through the swim during the last film shoot. No wonder the fish were a little twitchy at times (turtles basically sit on the bottom and nip at fishes fins, so sport only picks up after they leave or you catch and remove them).

I must be slipping Pat, as I have never caught a turtle from Braidwood. One in my swim and I missed it, shame on me LOL. I will lose my title of turtle expert if I am not careful.
