Hello all.
Do not forget to check out our new video clip, in "video gallery". This footage was taken just last weekend, with our underwater camera. There are some great close up shots of common carp and bluegills.

just watched it Pat. Amazing how the carp home in on the ball. Wat dosage of B is in the groundbait used?

Hello Jamie.
I make nearly all my own ground baits here, as commercial ones are hard to come by. This one consisted of 4 parts corn meal, 6 parts brown crumb and 2 parts white crumb, to make a total weight of approx 1 kilo. As this lake has a very strong under tow I added 1 1/2 teaspoons of biosource to it. (basically my river mix). My normal lake mix would be 1 teaspoon. Just a handful of pineapple flavoured corn sprinkled over the top. I was fishing about 1 foot from the camera!!!!! We are sure that some of the big swirls are caused by fish being hooked. I took over 90lbs of fish that day from the one line right by the camera.

:)Hi Folks Just finished putting together another video ('The Biosource Effect') that shows what happens in the 15 min. or so after a ball of 'B' laced groundbait is introduced to the swim - compressed to just under 4 minutes viewing time. See the Video page at the site, or check out You Tube. The direct links are: www.biosourcebaits.com/Biosourcevideo.htmwww.youtube.com/user/BiosourceBaitsPat

Very Nice !! I have fished that venue for SM Bass and know that the water temperature varies greatly from end to end. What was the water temperature in the area you were fishing?

Hello Larry.
I am not sure which footage this is from. I think it is from when we filmed on the south bank. If it is the water temperature was somewhere in the 90's. We fished 2 swims to the left of the boat ramp "when facing the water". I had my seatbox set up in the water and waded slightly to get to it, and the water was like bath water walking in it with flip flops on. We set the camera up 10 metres from my box in about 3 feet of water, and tried to fish up tight to it. The main problem was the strong under current kept pulling as away from the camera, I was fishing the pole which does help to keep in the correct place to some degree. I had a 1.5 gm float on, which is quite large when only fishing in 3 feet of water, but was required to keep the presentation of the bait good. If I would have had a 2gm float in my box I would have put in on, but 1.5 was the heaviest I had with me.
