Just wondering has anyone used B with maggots and if so what is the best way to apply it to them. I thought maybe a teaspoon of powder to half a pint of maggots would be the right amount but how would it be applied??

yes ive notced a lot more people realise it now it has been advertised in MF and APF. Maybe a feature needs to be done in one of the magazines with a well known anglers detailing the use of Biosource baits?? Juat a thought

i would start kneading the paste and then add the B powder to the paste ball and keep kneading it into the ball of paste. i have found it is best to add B to any bait the night before going fishing and putting it in the fridge. On how much to use, it is a difficult one as i dont know how much paste u are making but a good starting point is a teaspoon to a tennis sized ball of paste i would say. Hope this helps

good report Pat. Very interesting. I am going to try and make a league table over a period of the next few times I go fishing and try soaking different baits as mentioned above to discover how long B stays in them.

would B stay in certain baits for longer. for example more porous baits such as meat as oposed to corn or casters which dont soak the B up as well??? Thanks Jamie

I have been doing really well on meat with b powder poured on it and allow it to sweat overnight before u go fishing. The next day it has drawn all the powder in and works brilliantly. Has won me a few pounds over the last couple of weeks

ye i have had a good result on Biosource feed pellets and has a 2nd in match with 6lb 40z of Roach a couple of weeks ago. I caught the fish on maggots and casters over the feed pellets. will put a picture up on the gallery soon.
