B Glug

If B was made into a glug, probably mixed with glycerine to make a thick dip and used to glug hooker pellets and corn. How long would it last before going off?? Also is there enough attraction in just the hook bait being glugged or do u need a regular influx of B going into the water. Thanks Jamie

Cant wait for it ;D...Feels like I have been waiting for ages. This long winter has certainly dragged on but looks like it is finally starting to finish. The opens have been won on pellet and corn recently..Sounds perfect for some Biosource treatment lol. Will let you know how I get on

Probably a question for Pat or Trev. Are SBS distributing B treated baits yet?? I have quite a few anglers asking me where they can buy some treated pellets etc. I usually give them some of the treated baits I have done for myself to last them the session but seems more people want to try it. Jamie

The rest of these winter league matches are proving bloody hard. top weight was last week at Cuttle Mill, a very well known venue in the Midlands, and a favourite haunt of the late Ivan Marks. 11lb won that consisted of 1 carp of around 9lb and loads of tiny roach. I had 12oz with 2 fish, the only 2 bites i had all day we have another match there on march 7th so will have to reassess tactics.

Had first match of the other winter league and did not do so good. there was 12 of us fishing and 10 of us blanked not having a bite including me. The macth was won with 1 carp for 2lb 3oz and 2nd place weighed 1lb 2oz of very small skimmers.
Took us over an hour to break the ice as well now all the snow water is going in it is only going to get harder IMO. Next match is on sunday but we will have to see what the weather is like first

Daiwa hydrolastic is brilliant elastic for big fish on the pole. I use purple rated 14-18 for most of my summer fishing and red rated to 20+ for margin fishing in the summer. very forgiving and strong lasts years too. It costs around £15 but lasts years over here in the UK, not sure if u can get it in the US??

yes i have but have found personally that b tends to work better in colder clear water. had some good catches earlier this year when the water was still clear. Tended to get the fish fizzing more with their heads down. Cant wait to get out this winter and experiment with dosages and baits
