-[ The other day, number one son and I were talking and he said he did not think that B made a difference to what we caught. I suggested we find out. So last Sunday we went down the lake, The plan, to fish 2.5 m poles to hand for 'gills. The lake was the color of strong milky tea from all the recent rain and colder than usual. Bait was half a panfish worm on a 12 hook. feed chopper nightcrawler in ground bait. No B in my groundbait, while my sons had B. After 2 hours I had caught about 1.6 lb to his 5 lb. Still not convinced, we swapped groindbait. Over the next hour his catch rate went to almost nil while mine went through the roof. The end result. doubting son 7 lb. smart ass dad 7.5 lb. Case closed.
