:)Hi Folks
I'd like to formally welcome and introduce Andrew Wiffen - our newest sponsored angler (see the Sponsorship area of the site for Andrew's full profile). Andrew fishes commercial venues in the UK exclusively. Feel free to say 'hi' to Andrew and let him in on your latest tricks and tips regarding the use of 'B' - esp. for carp on commercials.

Follow up:
Nick, did you splice your own leadcore? if so, is it necessary to glue the piece threaded back into the main length to make the loops? Couple of vids online, one glues, one does not...
Thanks,
Pat

Hi Nick, thanks for the report - neat trick!
I just bought some leadcore and will try using it on the river when after carp (not my idea, I saw Ian 'Chilly' Chilcot do the same in a river carp fishing DVD).
Cheers,
Pat

Hi Folks A remarkable video showing how a variety of species (including shad, a filter feeder) are stimulated into feeding over a BiosourceTM treated ball of groundbait. Species attracted include shad, bluegill, catfish and carp. See more video clips at the Video section of the Biosource Baits website: www.biosourcebaits.com/Biosourcevideo.htm Pat

Hi Folks 'Love Cats': An underwater video of channel catfish, recorded in the USA, feeding on BiosourceTM treated groundbait. A catfish is captured on a single piece of BiosourceTM treated corn towards the end of the clip. Enjoy! It was a good day out - we ran out of bait so had to pack up with the fish still biting - I needed just a couple more for the magic 100 lb. Oh well. Trev is being modest, if he'd have not spent a lot of time fishing for cat's with his new bait he would have caught just as many carp as me - they were having corn through a method feeder with gusto! I had a couple of casts with Trev's bait - one carp, one cat, so it works for both species. Thing with the corn was that i could bury it in the method ball - this seemed to sort out the carp over the much smaller cats. All in all a great day with a few good lessons learned.

8-)Some excellent results recently guys - great job! I was particularly impressed with Nick's match wining 74 lb to a pair of DNW on next pegs. Seems like biosource is also an angler repellent ..... Please don't forget to drop me an occasional on-line form submission - I'll be converting these to .pdfs and keeping track of how everything is going. Cheers! Pat PS Trev is developing a B catfish bait here in the states, testing this weekend. Be interesting to see how it goes

Hi Ian
Not a problem - one of the side effects / added complications of starting a business I supose... Definitely be interested to see if you see any differences between B and Compulsion - please be sure to keep us posted on that.
Cheers and all the best,
Pat

Hi Ian
I'd recommend giving Compulsion a fair shake - it's just as good as B as far as I can tell. If you really don't like it I can send you a small 'top up' FOC - I unfortunately can't start selling B on the side, as we have an exclusive contract with WB with regarding to them selling B treated retail products in the USA.

Hi Ian The WB Compulsion is a very nice product - 50% B by weight, with a number of complementary ingredients added to give it a nice 'rounded' sweet smell / taste. Anyway, because it is only half as strong as the neat stuff, you basically need to use twice as much as you have been with neat 'B'. I've put together a user guide for the product, available as a free download from the site: www.biosourcebaits.com/Biosource%20recipes%20and%20suggested%20dosages%20COMPULSION.pdf All the best, Pat
