Been fishing a few matches recently with just 4ths and 5ths to show. Fished a match today though with the college i used to attend.
The venue was a long shallow pool set in a valley in shropshire.
I won last years match and had a trophy for it, and I retained it this year too with a match winning weight of 23lb 4oz. Either side of me weighed in 2lb 15oz and 2lb 5oz.
3rd place overall weighed in 8lb 14oz and 2nd had 9lb odd. I caught 2 carp, 1 tench and 10lb of skimmers in the 3-8oz bracket on soft 6mm pellet glugged in CSL and B fished over micro pellets ttreated with B and a bit of B treated corn.
